NUGCDPA RUNDOWN

Most Rev. John Alphonse Asiedu, Bishop of Donkorkrom Vicariate, presided over the opening mass for the NUGCDPA CONGRESS, 2023.

The bishop emphasized in his homily that, ” *Communion and participation is needed for a synodal Church*. A sound mind and a sound body is necessary for us to contribute our part as individuals of the synodal church”.

He also challenged priests to be *”approachable”*.According to the bishop, Priest must be approachable by creating time and space for people who want to share their inner longings or feelings.

He then encourage both the laity and priests present not to find it difficult to relinquish power once enjoyed. We must learn from Andrews in paving way for others to experience what we have already experienced or might be experiencing.

He ended by saying, *”love & enthusiasm makes a missionary and diocesan priests”*
